A Practice in Observation: GENIUS LOCI TBILISI (Summer Program)

The State Silk Museum invites you to participate in the open summer program developed within the framework of the ongoing research project and exhibition Museum and River.

The temporary exhibition explores the concept of genius loci - the spirit of place. The spirit of a place is often understood as something that already exists and simply awaits discovery. This program begins with a different question: What happens when a place seems to offer nothing? Is it possible to discover a soul within emptiness?

The photographs, videos, sound recordings, drawings, and other materials produced throughout the program will be publicly presented at the end of September as part of the parallel program of the Tbilisi Architecture Biennial
