Museum basement after renovation

Due to the underground pipeline disfunction the basement of the museum was not used until now. After the rehabilitation is complete the basement will house a caffe, conference hall and educational spaces, conservation laboratory, lavatories etc. The space will also be adapted for the wheelchair users. 

Museum building restoration works are carryed out by Tbilisi Development Fund. The project is co-funded by The International Association of Francophone Mayors. Nino Tchatchkhiani is the author of the rehabilitation project.
