The museum houses an impressive collection of up to 5 000 different species and varieties of silk cocoons dating back to 19th-21st centuries.
This outstanding collection is renowned worldwide for its age and diversity.
The cocoons vary from species to species in terms of size, shape, color, and thread length. The collection includes specimens from different countries of Caucasus, Europe and Asia.
